Rector Street (R, W)
This stop is tightly sandwiched between the Rector Street 1 train stop just one teeny block to the west, and the Wall Street 4 & 5 trains stop just one short block to the east.
In general, there isn’t anything special about this stop that you wouldn’t find off the Rector 1 or Wall Street 45; it’s just an access point to FiDi.
Now, this stop does bring you to the backside of Trinity Church, but you have to walk a block to the Wall Street 45 to enter the church and its flanking graveyards.
Basically, you’re just getting off this stop if it made sense for you to get on the R or W train in the first place, and you need to access FiDi.
And, in that case, you may as well check out the other stations in the Wall Street subway convergence zone, including Bowling Green 45, Broad St JZ, and the like. In general, the area is touristy, but fun to walk around in, especially if you love looking up at tall buildings.
