Seventh Avenue (F, G)
Seventh Avenue is a main Park Slope artery, and there’s a laidback, neighborhood vibe around the station.

The cafes and stores all have a local flavor to them. I mean, yes, there’s a Starbucks and D&D … but aside from that, everything feels very much like it belongs here, or has been here for a long long time.
Veer off onto any of 7th Ave’s offshoots, and you’ll find rows and rows of brownstones.
In general, this is a great area to bring a friend or a book or a picnic. Here are my recommendations.
Wine Bar
Brookvin: Go on a nice day, ask to sit in their back terrace. It’s a vibe.
Laptop-Friendly Cafes
Winner: Nice pastries
Couleur Cafe: A cafe, bar, and French brunch spot
Serious Coffee Person Cafe
Java Joe: Buy fresh beans, loose leaf tea, or a cute mug, or have the barista whip you up something in this teeny cafe.

Grocery Store
The Bad Wife: Go for the name, stay for the produce.
Candy Store
Fferins of Brooklyn: If you’re heading to Prospect Park, pick up some candy on the way.
Celebrity sighting! Local model and Project 472’s CTO was spotted in Fferins!
Restaurants
There are soo many restaurant options around here. Why not try…
Hanco’s: A plant-filled Vietnamese restaurant
Diner
7th Ave Donuts & Diner: It’s a classic 24/7. Barstools, booths, you know the deal.
Prospect Park
Picnic! Stroll! Lollygagging! 7th Avenue will get you there.
Bye for now!
