Spring Street (C, E)

This stop gives you access to two very different types of SoHo.

East of the Station:

This is the classic SoHo shopping area, with cute expensive lofts above cute expensive shops.

My recs: Dominique Ansel Bakery, which is right off the station, and has wifi and a cute patio. Sorate for tea. Global Table for a housewarming gift. Marie Belle for chocolate tasting in their cafe.

Keep going east and you’ll find your diamond stores and Guccis and whatnot.

If you hit Wooster St, I recommend going south and following the art gallery guide for Canal (C, E).

West of the Station:

Now you’re in the Hudson Square, high-rise hotel area.

It’s more spacious out here, so the restaurants and shops are bigger and more industrial.

The Color Factory Museum is around here, which is kind of like the Museum of Ice Cream - a large venue for selfies with vibrant backdrops.

A Bougie Walk

Spring Street and its parallels (Prince, Broome, etc.) are a nice way to cross lower Manhattan. They’ll take you through SoHo in all its variations.

What did I miss? Scroll past the map and let me know in the comments.
